MCV Endorses Kathleen Williams in Montana Congressional Race

(BILLINGS, Mont.)  – Montana Conservation Voters, through its federal political action committee, today announced its endorsement of Kathleen Williams for Montana’s At-Large Congressional District.

“Kathleen Williams has a long and established record of doing what’s right for Montana—for our climate, our clean air and water, and for our public lands—and we enthusiastically support her campaign to represent us all in Congress,” said MCV Executive Director Aaron Murphy. “We encourage all conservation voters to consider throwing their support behind Kathleen, so we can send a Montana champion to Washington.”  

MCV also endorsed Williams in her 2018 bid to represent Montana’s lone seat in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Williams has dedicated her entire life to public service and the stewardship of natural resources. First elected to the Montana House of Representatives in 2010, Williams served on the Natural Resource Committee where she worked extensively to protect Montana’s clean water and helped pass the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes’ Water Compact. Williams has a 100 percent lifelong score over her multiple terms in the legislature and has also supported conservation efforts in the non-profit and private sectors.
