In Billings, MCV-endorsed candidates Kendra Shaw, Danny Choriki and Mike Boyett all won their city council elections, which means we’ve secured a historic conservation majority on the Billings City Council.
In Missoula, our candidates Heidi West, Mirtha Becerra, Gwen Jones and Amber Sherrill all won despite being the targets of negative dark money efforts. The voters of Missoula have made it clear that those tactics have no place in our state.
In Bozeman, endorsed conservation champion Cyndy Andrus won her re-election and will again serve as mayor when her term begins. This means that Mayor Andrus can continue her important work on climate resilience and making the city of Bozeman environmentally sustainable.
In Helena, Emily Dean won her election to the Helena City Commission, which will help us pass a 100% clean energy resolution.
And in Livingston, mom and clean air activist Melissa Nootz won her race and will continue to serve on the Livingston City Commission.
