Washington, D.C. – The League of Conservation Voters (LCV) Action Fund, which works to elect candidates who will support sound conservation policies, announced today its endorsement of Kathleen Williams for Congress in Montana’s At-Large District.

She is very clearly the only candidate who shares Montana’s conservation values and we are thrilled to endorse her in this critical race.”

Williams has dedicated her career to protecting our outdoors, particularly in water policy. She has worked in conservation in the public, non-profit, and private sectors. As a state legislator, she served on the Agriculture and Natural Resources Committees, where she was a leader on water policy issues and received a 100 percent score every session from Montana Conservation Voters. She was a lead negotiator in quantifying the water rights of the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes, and served as Vice Chair of the Water Policy Interim Committee. In Congress, Williams will continue to be a champion for public lands and critical conservation protections.
