MCV Announces Next Round of Candidate Endorsements 

MCV Action Fund backs ten more candidates for state legislature and county commission 

(HELENA, Mont.) – The Montana Conservation Voters Action Fund, MCV’s affiliated Political Action Committee, announced its next round of endorsements for ten more conservation champions running for state office in 2022. 

“MCV is proud to stand behind these ten exceptional candidates,” said MCV Executive Director Whitney Tawney. “They have all proven themselves to be advocates and champions for Montana. Whether protecting our access to public lands or ensuring our right to clean air and water, we know they will fight for Montana’s best places and spaces.” 

The MCV’s independent PAC board endorsed the following candidates:

County Commission:

• Dave Strohmaier –  Missoula County 

State Senate Candidates:

• Andrea Olsen – Missoula – SD 50
• Casey Schreiner – Great Falls – SD 13

State Representative Candidates:

• Bob Carter – Missoula – HD 98
• Alanah Griffith – Big Sky – HD 64
• Jonathan Karlen – Missoula – HD 96
• James Reavis – Billings – HD 50
• Melissa Smith – Great Falls – HD 23
• Ruth Weissman – Livingston – HD 59
• Zooey Zephyr – Missoula – HD 100
