Montana Conservation Voters-Endorsed City Council Candidates Win Primary Elections

Dominguez, Shaw advance to November 5 General Election

 

(BILLINGS, Mont.)  – Both Billings City Council candidates endorsed by the Montana Conservation Voters Action Fund tonight won their primary elections today and will advance to the Billings municipal general election on Tuesday, November 5.

Small business owner Kendra Shaw will face John Armstrong in Ward 1, and healthcare business professional Carmelita Dominguez will face Pam Purinton in Ward 4.

 

“On behalf of the Montana Conservation Voters Action Fund, we congratulate both candidates on their hard-earned victories,” said Brandon DeMars, chair of the MCV Action Fund. “The MCV Action Fund was honored to support Kendra’s and Carmelita’s candidacies in the primary, and we look forward to helping them win in November as we work to build a conservation majority on the Billings City Council.”
