Montana Conservation Voters-Endorsed Raph Graybill Wins Primary

Graybill advances to Nov. 3 General Election

(BILLINGS, Mont.)  – Raph Graybill, candidate for Montana Attorney General, will advance to the General Election on Tuesday, November 3, after the Montana Conservation Voters Action Fund launched robust efforts to support him.

The MCV Action Fund sent nearly 7,000 text messages to MCV members and conservation supporters, and ran a statewide digital program that featured ads highlighting Graybill’s support for and record of protecting public lands and public access. The digital ads had almost 2 million impressions and a reach of 320,000 voters in Montana.

The MCV Action Fund, the affiliated state political action committee of Montana Conservation Voters, endorsed Graybill on April 27 after inviting all candidates, regardless of political party, to participate in the endorsement process.

“When the MCV Action Fund gets behind a candidate early, we do everything we can to help them be successful,” said Jill Lombardi, chair of the MCV Action Fund. “We’re excited about Raph Graybill’s win last night, and we’re looking forward to helping him win again in November.”

Graybill will face former Montana state representative Austin Knudsen in the November 3 General Election. Knudsen has earned an MCV lifetime score of 4 percent for his anti-public lands and anti-environment voting record.
