Team MCV announces second round of endorsed municipal candidates ahead of 2025 elections

(HELENA, Mont.) – The Montana Conservation Voters Action Fund, MCV’s affiliated political action committee, is thrilled to announce the endorsement of seven more conservation champions running for municipal offices in the 2025 election. 

“Local elections matter. In 2025, Montanans have the chance to choose leaders who will stand up for our communities and values,” said MCV Action Fund Chair Jill Lombardi. “We’re proud to support candidates who will safeguard Montana’s public lands, clean air, clean water, and uphold the Constitution for the generations to come.”

The following candidates have been endorsed:

Bozeman 

• Douglas Fischer, Mayor

Kalispell

• Ryan Hunter, Mayor

Missoula

• Andrea Davis, Mayor
• Betsy Craske, City Council Ward 1
• Justin Ponton, City Council Ward 2
• Mike Nugent, City Council Ward 4
• Sean Patrick McCoy, City Council Ward 6

MCV will endorse additional conservation champions over the coming weeks as momentum grows for the 2025 election. Final endorsement decisions are made by the board of the MCV Action Fund, MCV’s independent political action committee.
