Government Affairs Director

The Government Affairs Director is a senior-level leader responsible for maintaining strong relationships with government officials to bolster bipartisan support for our organization’s policy priorities. This role leads MCV’s nonpartisan legislative lobbying and candidate-to-elected official lifecycle. Current emphasis lies in state-level policy goals, with the potential to develop more robust federal lobbying and accountability work. Reporting directly to the Executive Director, this position serves as the organization’s primary lobbyist and point of contact for state-level candidates and elected officials.

Outreach & Advocacy Manager

The Outreach & Advocacy Manager is responsible for executing public engagement campaigns that further the mission of Montana Conservation Voters and the MCV Education Fund. This role transforms complex policy priorities into meaningful grassroots action by designing and implementing multi-channel educational and advocacy campaigns, directing political accountability programs, and engaging partners around shared policy goals. The position plays a central role in building sustained public support and driving measurable engagement across Montana.

Billings and Bozeman Canvassers

Montana Conservation Voters (MCV) and the MCV Action Fund are seeking well-organized, engaging Canvassers to connect with voters one-on-one about a variety of vital issues important to protecting Montana’s natural resources and the candidates willing to fight for conservation in public office. This boots-on-the-ground role would be great for a person who can lean into important conversations, and has a passion for conservation, strong sense of organization, and the ability to work independently. MCV is currently hiring Canvassers in Billings and Bozeman for the ongoing election cycle.
