Angela Swatek will help execute organization’s fundraising from Helena
(HELENA, Mont.) – Montana Conservation Voters and the MCV Education Fund today announced the hire of Angela Swatek to serve as the organizations’ new Development Director.
Swatek brings nearly a decade of nonprofit fundraising experience from the New York League of Conservation Voters, Montana Audubon, Women’s Voices for the Earth and the Community Service Society, where she raised critical funds through grants and individual gifts for conservation, education, policy and human services. Originally from New York State, Swatek graduated from the University of Montana in 2013 with a Master’s degree in Environmental Philosophy.
Swatek will serve as MCV’s lead fundraiser, growing, cultivating, sustaining and developing robust relationships with MCV’s donor network to significantly increase MCV’s overall impact.
“I’m excited to join this team and use my skills in fundraising, program development, and strategic planning to help MCV achieve its goals and make a positive impact in the great state of Montana,” said Swatek.
“We’re delighted to have Angela’s experience on board,” said Whitney Tawney, the Executive Director of Montana Conservation Voters. “She has the right skillset to advance MCV and the MCV Education Fund’s work to position us to protect Montana as the Last Best Place.”
