MCV Announces Hire of Billings-Based Political Director

Molly Bell joins Team MCV to lead the organization’s political and electoral work

(BILLINGS, Mont.) – Montana Conservation Voters and the MCV Education Fund today announced the hire of Molly Bell of Billings as the Political Director.

Bell brings over a decade of experience leading numerous electoral and issue advocacy campaigns in Montana and around the country. She joins MCV after serving five years as the Billings Regional Field Director for U.S. Senator Jon Tester. Bell holds an undergraduate degree from Furman University and a master’s degree in Philosophy and Public Policy from the London School of Economics.

I’m thrilled to be joining MCV at this critical juncture. This upcoming election is so crucial and MCV is well positioned to help Montanans elect conservation champions,” said Bell. “I’m excited to work with staff and volunteers toward our electoral and policy goals, such as protecting our constitutional right to a clean and healthful environment.

Bell will serve as MCV’s lead political strategist, playing a central role in all of MCV’s work to elect conservation champions to all levels of government. Additionally, she will lead the MCV’s Political Action Committee and oversee the organization’s electoral work and independent expenditures.

Molly brings the political smarts and Montana-based expertise at a time when Montana faces the threat of an anti-conservation supermajority in our state legislature,” said MCV Executive Director Whitney Tawney. “Her savvy leadership will guide MCV this election season and beyond, helping us protect Montana’s best outdoor spaces for the next generation.

Bell is based in Billings and can be reached at molly@mtvoters.org.
